Service fees
We believe the price you see should be the price you pay. ZaraTrip uses all-in pricing: the total shown on every fare already includes airline taxes and our service margin. There is no separate booking fee added at the last step.
What our margin covers
The difference between the airline’s base fare and the price you pay covers:
- Running the booking platform and issuing your ticket securely.
- Payment processing and fraud protection.
- Customer support before, during and after your trip.
- Helping you cancel, change or claim a refund when your fare allows it.
No surprise fees
We don’t add mandatory “convenience” or “booking” fees on top of the displayed price for a standard booking. Optional extras you choose — like a specific seat, extra checked baggage, or holding a fare to pay later — are always shown with their own price before you pay, so you’re never charged for something you didn’t pick.
Taxes and currency
Fares are shown in US dollars and include government and airline taxes. Your bank may apply its own currency-conversion charge if your card is in a different currency — that’s set by your bank, not by us. Local mobile-money payment options for East Africa are on our roadmap.
A fair note on prices
Airline fares move in real time and aren’t guaranteed until your ticket is issued. If a fare changes between search and payment, we’ll always show you the new total and let you decide before anything is charged.
